Saguaro East, as the name suggest, is located on the East side of Tucson. The parc is part of the Sonoran desert. Le parc national des saguaros, est partage en deux. Une partie a l'est et l'autre a l'ouest de Tucson. Le parc est inclut dans le Sonoran desert. |

It's early morning, the park just opened its doors. Their is only backcountry campground inside the parc, but they are some outside of it. Il est le matin de bonne heure, le parc vient d'ouvrir ces portes. Il n'y que des campings non amenages (atteignable qu'a pied ou a cheval), a l'interieur du parc, mais il y a des campings amenage a la peripherie. |

In the national park, the Saguaro plants have been protected since 1933. It takes a saguaro plant about 30 years to start blooming and produce the first fruits. It start to produce branches after about 75 years. Saguaros that live 150 years, can reach about 50 feet, their weigh can be around 8 tons. Source: Saguaro national park flyer provided at entrance.
